The photographer Corinne Day, best known for her fashion photography, has died after a long battle with cancer. Day emerged in the 1990s in tandem with Kate Moss, who she photographed regularly. Her style of photography was notable for being grungy and documentary-like - she shot Moss in her own messy flat for British Vogue in 1993 - and her photographic style was extremely influential in British and international fashion. Her more documentary works have been shown at the Photographer's Gallery and the V&A.
