I have found that it has taken me many paths and years to finally start getting it as far as having my own ideas and my own look or style.
It started when I began to "let go" and let the ideas flow out of my head without really forcing them.
The more I let them pop in and just flow out, the more have come. The nice thing is they are mine and not a copy of anyone else. I am not trying to be another Heyson or Turner, just a better me and when they turn out, boy is it satisfying!
That "zone" that you get into when you are working in front of a painting or drawing, where the time flies by and you don't notice because you are completely absorbed in that zone is amazing. Then you come out of it like waking from a dream, and there it is. Something that is truly yours, from a thought in your head to a physical reality. What an amazing gift.
