Bahrain wins Venice Golden Lion

Bahrain has won the Golden Lion for best national pavilion in the Venice Architecture Biennale, which opened last week. This was the country's first official participation in the biennale and their exhibition, through three former fisherman huts transported from their original location to Venice, explored the decline of sea culture in the Gulf state.
