About my artwork
My photographs have featured in a number of national and internationally renowned photography exhibitions and awards. These include being shortlisted and commissioned by LDC's This Working Life 2007, announced as the overall winner of Keele University's Three Counties Open Photography Competition 2008 and featuring in CIWEM's Environmental Photographer of The Year 2008 exhibition. I was announced as the third place finalist in the 'Fine Art - Natural History' professional category of the Sony World Photography Awards 2009 with a selection of four photographs from my series 'Starlings Above' which aims to capture the innate beauty of starlings in flight as they form hypnotic shapes and patterns in the sky above. I was also shortlisted in the British Wildlife Photography Awards 2010.
