Rütimann’s ‘Handlauf’ series leads us on an endless camera ride through the world. Beijing, Skopje, Spullersee, Piccadilly Circus, Fuerteventura and back. Railings and handrails serve as camera tracks in these remarkable and hypnotic works. Before embarking on a year of solo shows in 2009 tank.tv will, this month, take a look at videos made and commissioned by Grizedale Arts - an organisation where collectivity and participation are central to the production of work in communities both in the UK and abroad. I would like to make people aware of White House Project in the first place. I would like them to respond to it, feel it and give feedback. And to sell it too...
Hopefully, you'll get some time to look into it. The project is connected to cities and countries, the next one is Spain. The current one was mostly European.
