About my artwork
I encourage the blossoming of pareidolia - seeing faces, objects or patterns in seemingly irrelevant images, like clouds. It celebrates ambiguity and is fun to play with. Art should be the epitome of fun, color, freedom and possibility.
Artists I like
Greer Lankton, Ray Johnson, Remedios Varo, Nan Goldin, Wilson Tawaquaptewa, Forest Clemenger-Bess, Alex Grey, Grandma Moses, ForceField
Centre of the artworld:
another city
We are able to transform infinitely from, yet are finitely limited to, the world around us and our personal experiences in life. We appear to be observers of information that is absolute and uncontrollable, but we are forever redefining our world with new ideas and vocabulary. This paradoxical state of being fascinates me at every moment. My paintings are a celebration of the ambiguous and transitory nature of the mind. Through mixed media and collage I create scenes and worlds that are vividly colorful and intricately defined and detailed, yet remain in a fully interpretive and lucid state. I am inspired by forms like flames, water, clouds, smoke, lava, and sand, all forms in constant states of flux. Other inspiration comes from topographical maps, butterfly wings, and gasoline rainbows. By creating the illusion of interlocking textures and surfaces, I encourage the blossoming of pareidolia - seeing faces, objects or patterns in seemingly irrelevant images, like clouds.

Thank you kindly for liking my space art. It seems that today not many can relate to it today as they did in the Star Trek era of the 1970s. I appreciate it. Here's my electronic music for you as well:
