Open to all artists in all fine arts media we seek to recognize outstanding quality and diversity in the arts.

The 2009 IJC is open to all artists worldwide, age 18 and older. All works must be original. Entries in the following medias will be accepted: Painting, Drawing, Mixed media, Printmaking, Watercolor, Ceramics, Sculpture, and Photography.

Entry Deadline February 15th 2009.

AWARD

A solo show next winter 2009 at Bluebird Art House and $1500 to the winner. 1 work in the show for each one of the 3 runner up.

At 2:55pm on May 28, 2008, Kelly Thompson said…: Thanks, Yes all drawn and painted. I love to layer using concrete, resin and (circles, or some weird reason). The two really great ones are a collaboration with photographer Susan Weber and painter Walt Hall. "Vices" for instance I painted the martini glass, black, green and blue at the bottom. Then crazy Susan got a hold of it an did all the great collage stuff. Then Walt does what he calls "noodeling" He did the black, trees, and all the super cool other stuff. We did a whole show passing things around. It was great we had a great time and loved what each other did!

i like your work too.
it caught my eye immediately. you have great registration skills. i definitely don't.
i've worked with print (serigraphs,relief,intaglio, and mono type) but not recently. i think i have a mono type and a serigraph in my pics. lately i've been into embroidery.
