I like how you consider your work painting, but painting relieved of the usual tools and supports of painting, and liberated into the world. After all, painting has traditionally been considered to be about the manipulation of light in 2 dimensions, and you've just transposed that concept into 3 dimensions, using project light rather than reflected (from paint) light. Very interesting.
