Hi Simone,
I noticed earlier that you had the wrong videos on this site. There seem to be many mistakes on all of ours but I believe artreview will iron them out. Imagine having to handle a site as large as this one.
You sent a message to all your friends, including me, and Ronee answered you and her answer appears on my site. So there are problems with those messages also.
As always I love your work and the new videos.
Best, Joyce

I enjoy your videos. They are tender and sensitive and say something about the way we live our lives - or not. I still think your mouthful of snakes is disgusting - if memorable.

hello. I went to your site and viewed Walking desert. Beautiful!
I was waiting for you to come back but then realized the film had finished. I dont work with film so it was quite captivating and surreal to see a woman in a purple dress walk out into such a great landscape. I imagined being there next to the camera and it not feeling the same. thank you. great!

Hi Simone,
Thank you for your lovely thoughts. And your suggestion to use Safari was just the right thing! I can now navigate the site very well. This artreview.com is a lot of fun.
I appreciate art with an edge and your art stretches that edge for me. And of course, subtlety is the name of the game.
All the best, Joyce

Hi,thanks for comment. I guess free web hosting is free for a reason, that shouldn't happen. I'll have to break my piggy bank and get a proper web hotel.
I love your Kiss Me video!

Hi Simone
Thank you for ur mail. I am quite impressed by your approach to drawing. My idea behind doubleline is as under :
The use of double line is now my handwriting for making drawings.
It slows down and steady which enable the viewer to spend more time to experience the intensity expressed beyond the double line,
It adds rawness to the line which I experienced in the art of primitives.
It connects me to my culture where the folk embroidery done by the village women bears the fragrance of the soil.
The use of double line represent the neutrality between tension
Different surface of papers used and the subsequent stamping and smudging of the double line drawn with the ball point pen help me in attaining the effects in consonance with the feeling.
And there is inner space into the double line.... like a path..... almost always open, willing to the other inner space
As regards viewing it as a close up I will mail you on your email id.

Hope I have explained to your satisfaction
Best wishes
