I am...: I am an artist of mixed origins who currently lives in Glasgow, Scotland.

About my artwork: I am the proverbial 'jack of all trades'. I paint, draw, install, perform, schmooze, and scheme. My artwork has won prizes (Pikinski Rathbone prize, RSA New Contemporary 2009, Catlin Art Prize 2010 (shortlisted), J.H Sienberg Award) but I think that it is my cunning that really sets me apart from a number of other artists. By the time I had left art school I had sold my work to 8 of my tutors. In the 4 months since I graduated, I had 5 exhibitions and have 5 more secured. My work ranges from moustachioed expressionless pseudo-naive portraiture to a huge (24x12ft) installation called 'Omar's Spuriosity Shop'. My art is from the world and for the world.

Artists I like: Sorin Tara, the Chapman brothers, Charles Avery, James kingdom Smyth, Pikinski Vashtar Rathbone.

What exhibitions are good at the moment?: 'The Fatalistic Family' at Che Camille, Glasgow.

Actually I came from Science Field not Art ,but I basically love Art since childhood....I totally turned to Art since 5 years.

Print making seems like it'd be something new to explore I'll look further into it and let you know if anything happens involving that. Likewise, I'd enjoy hearing how you benefit from learning print making. I haven't heard about the burning man festival before. I looked it up and it seems really cool. The website I was on mentioned Nevada but I'm not positive about that being the actual location. I was anti social for a long time and missed out on alot in the schools I went to before college. I think what made me feel better was getting over my self-doubt and starting with just complementing strangers on various things at stores (gradually becoming more social) and not holding regrets but still learning from the experience.
