I am...
a UK based artist whose practice involves outcomes in sculpture, drawing, photography, video and sound. I've exhibited work in the UK, Germany and Japan.
About my artwork
7. Body, object, space.
Absurd Existential isolation, combined with a romantic longing, leads to a fetishisation of objects and surfaces, where minimal forms reveal a sensual and tactile materiality.

8. The fetishisation here is the repetition of a frozen moment.
A hotel room, flag, newspapers on the rear of a wardrobe, waiting, the gap between two pillows, a box, or the image of an icon.
Intimate. Contained. Reflection. Deviation.

5. Communication.
The repetition of stripes and hoops. Lines with gaps between them.
The gap is powerful, a tension between the possible and the impossible.
Potential for communication. Side by side, but never truly connecting.

Marcel Duchamp, Bruce Nauman, Jean-Marc Bustamante, Miroslav Balka, Ian Kier, Claire Barclay
