About us

The word Kriya in Sanskrit means action of the soul or pr‚na karma. The first and most important action of the soul is breath. It is this spirit of labours of the soul that Kriya Art House wishes to nurture through art.
Kriya Art House is an art house based in Hyderabad, India that seeks to initiate and execute projects related to art and culture that merges creative business with social enterprise. We intend to explore creativity at the grass roots level by inducing cultural exchange through cross-country collaborations.
We at Kriya Art House truly believe that art is of vital significance in society. Galleries, museums and collectors are immensely contributing and generating creative energy within the related social circles and societies in general, but a lot more art and art practices that do no fall under the purview of the galleries and museums are limiting the scope of this space.

Kriya Art House is a multidisciplinary art company, which aims to work across borders and geographies with a focus on art, culture, heritage and how all these interact with film and each other. The art house will aim to conceive, curate and produce avant-garde work that sets high standards of innovation and excellence. We will partner and collaborate with local and international organizations as well as artists, Galleries, Museums, auction houses, production & distribution houses, and festivals, writers, curators, and business houses to promote and produce cutting-edge art & film projects

Kriya Art House seeks to work with clients in the corporate, governments, hospitality, residential, healthcare, education sectors, filmmakers, music & theatre, artist groups and NGOs for fundraising projects. We believe in making the selection of art/film projects an enjoyable and stimulating experience for the spaces and audience that we seek to engage with.

Fundamental to the company's artistic practice is the belief that artists/creative professionals can transform places and regenerate communities, by working in harmony with the local people in the immediate environment.
Our philosophy is one of sharing knowledge with creative content generators and building their capacity, thereby expanding the economic potential of the arts/short & independent film sector.
