For those artists, writers, and students who are not familiar with my work. My work is almost never political. I was recently asked to write a description for a small series of paintings I have made for the British Art Academy called "4 Day Fast To Stop War" In general I don't like writing about individual paintings. I had rather a disaster for the London Art Fair - my two biggest, best paintings of the set were trashed by the carriers - they just returned the battered box without a word, after we were frantically trying to find out where they were. I guess that's life, eh?
