Can Photography Be Art?
I started working with photography when I was at college, I did the usual things, reworking negatives, collages, 3d constructions, adding text, series of the mundane, various other things. At that time I felt these worked as art, However it being the late seventies and early eighties there wasn't much of a market and eventually I had to consider making a living, also photography wasn't a particularly cheap way to make art, thank god for digital and inkjet.
