Erkut Terliksiz (Istanbul, Turkey)
Born in 1978 in Turkey and is currently based in Istanbul. After studying graphic design at the Mimar Sinan University, Erkut worked many years as a designer both in different companies and as a freelancer. His art has been exhibited all over the world from Barcelona CCCB to Australia, from Italy to China and SanFrancisco. He had his first solo exhibit, aptly titled ‘DEBUT’ in 2007 in Gallery Xist in Turkey. Erkut has been featured in different magazines like Sleazenation in UK, Zupi in Brasil and Place in Spain. Erkut’s awards include Turkish Graphic Designers Association’s Winner poster, Winner Cultural Poster, Roche Illustration Competiton First and Second Price, and Crystal Apple Advertisement Awards of Turkey Web Design Category. Erkut likes to paint in the evenings after coming home from his advertisement job as an art director in Ogilvy and Mather. He aso likes to cook, to dj and to perform other pleasures of life…
