If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Painting
I am...
me. I was nowhere, now I paint, and I am everywhere. I was disconnected, now I paint, and I am connected. I was lonely, now I paint, and I am surrounded with my painted "friends". I was depressed and confused about my life, now I paint, and my life is beginning to make sense. I have become because I paint.
About my artwork
I began painting a year and a half ago in my kitchen as therapy. I wanted to express things that had occurred in my past on canvas. I never intended for anyone to see the work. However, life tends to take its own path, and here I am. I have been in several galleries, done many shows, won awards, and been featured in 3 international magazines. I am as shocked as you are. I stay shocked. Everything has moved so quickly, I have a hard time keeping up... which could make a very interesting painting... giggles.
Artists I like
There are so many!! I adore the old masters, DaVinci, Michaelangelo, Kahlo, Waterhouse, etc. More contemporary artists would include, David Stoupakis, Kelly Louise Judd, Lori Early. There are few artists that I wouldnt like, as I love art!
Interests
Painting, of course, singing, dancing, laughing, chatting, learning, becoming... I also love all things Victorian, old broken dolls, antiques, people watching, old paper, ice cream, epiphanies, spiritual things.

you have a wonderful talent, very like one of your favorite artists Frida Kahlo. Because you have had no formal training, there is a beautiful naivety in your work. I love it.
