If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?: Painting

I am...: self taught,pain in the ass (according to some) a damn good painter (according to many).

About my artwork: I paint figurative expressionistic, lately, using dogs (calm down) as subject matter. The paint is the main thing to me.

Artists I like: Francis Bacon, Schnable,Picasso, others.

Interests: painting, learning to use this damn computer.

What exhibitions are good at the moment?: Haven't seen any.

My standard for evaluating painting is this: if I’m walking through a room and a painting is on the far wall, would I walk out of my to go look at it? I looked at all your paintings. The straight forward centrally placed figure gives the work a monumental feeling, which stands in stark contrast the small scale and lushly painted surface. There’s an “ugliness” to the colors in many of the paintings that are attractive and repulsive at the same time. Bravo.
