art.in.flux is a team of two young independent curators, recently graduated from arts degrees. Combined, we have experience working for galleries, artists, auction houses and art magazines. We share a passionate interest in the contemporary art scene and have embarked on this curatorial collaboration as a means of materialising our ideas about art as an experience, as something sensory; a reciprocal relationship between artwork, viewer and environment. As independent curators, we feel liberated from the responsibilities and restrictions associated with institutional galleries and museums. Thanks to this, we are able to concentrate on the message that is most important to us; giving exposure to new artists, and creating exhibitions through the transformation of non-gallery spaces.
