From a very young age I knew what I wanted to do with the rest of my life-I wanted that my passion and profession mean the same. So art became the fabric of my being and exploring physical space my mission.
My thesis show has simply been a re-invention of reality where I document my observations-no philosophies, no far fetched ideas, just me being the good kind of crazy I enjoy being =)
- About my artwork
- I like for my work to speak for itself.. It's important for me to communicate and equally important for the viewer to take from my work, what they can.
Key word: Self explanatory
Photography, is very straight up and simple.
Drawings, mixed media/abstract/conceptual - I thoroughly love and enjoy drawing
Painting; unfortunately for me, I just discovered I am allergic to turpentine oil, so till I can find a reasonable solution, THAT is on hold :)

Mashkoor, Sumaira Tazeen, Khadam Ali, the Chistis :), Tazeen Qayyum, D. Kazi, Aisha Khalid, Imran Qureshi etc etc..
- Interests
- Varied.. Definately revolving around my passion for and desire to express. Apart from that, love seafood, sailing and the beach.
- What exhibitions are good at the moment?
- At this point in time, group shows and residencies-a good exchange and sense of exposure for both the artist, curator, critic, collector and art enthusiast.

Open to all artists in all fine arts media we seek to recognize outstanding quality and diversity in the arts.
The 2009 IJC is open to all artists worldwide, age 18 and older. All works must be original. Entries in the following medias will be accepted: Painting, Drawing, Mixed media, Printmaking, Watercolor, Ceramics, Sculpture, and Photography.
Entry Deadline February 15th 2009.
