I am...

an artist using eclectic mix of media and styles, such as: sculpture, video, audio, text, Arte Povera poetics and symbolic associations, conceptualist connections and appropriated, nonart materials. I make installations that offer an intuitive response to an environment and draw attention to the contemporary issues.

About my artwork

Making sense of big political and human issues of today – disappointing legacies of capitalism, cultural conflicts, disputability of terror, the brevity of existence and pervading emotions of depression and loneliness is a main concern. The work I create often confront the audience with the uncanny, hidden, frightful experiences that are part of everyday life, but usually, rather left concealed and unspoken. However, it is not a pessimistic view on life. On contrary, it is a belief that revealing intimate contemplations and imperfections to the public expands the limits of transgression, shame, and social taboos. I see every piece as an invitation for the viewer to reflect and search for identity in territories where no one rules.
