Getting ready for my a solo show in a UK gallery titled a Floral Symphony this will be at the Eton Gallery (coincidentally named), Eton High road, berks from 2 - 30 July. I Am showing a series of paintings that combine flowers cut from magazines with improvised, organic marks in oil. Am taking part in the Windsor contemporary Art Fair, Friday 6th November to Sunday 8th November Have never done an art fair myself before so really not sure what to expect but hope it will be fun.

Since moving studio to a new venue behind a funeral parlour I have noticed my work has become full of flowers! I have started embedding photographs of flowers that I have taken with pictures cut from magazines, into abstract landscapes of paint. Whilst they could be seen on one hand as decorative or kitsch, I think they are powerful and intimitate images.
