I am...
An artist that is based in the UK and born in London.
About my artwork
I make paintings using improvised mark making and intuition. The works are created without a clear idea of the finished outcome, but the physical properies of the medium I use help to inform the image, in tension with my own aesthetic judgement.
Artists I like
Cy Twombly, Beatrice Millhazes, Pia Fries, Patrick Heron, Peter Lanyon,
Elizabeth Magill, Gillian Carneigie, Antoni Tapies, Howard Hodgkin

Whilst they could be seen on one hand as decorative or kitsch, I think they are powerful and intimitate images. hi Zoe, I've done Brick lane, london and a load of regional galleries. Am now mainly self-representing and have withdrawn back to concentrate upon work itself rather than the industry but IF you know a very reputable outfit, I might be interested....lol. Keep up the good work. Tony

Thanks for noticing I was featured. I like your paintings. What do you think of people who say things like "I distrust the art object"? I'm afraid they are starting to sway me.
