If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?

Painting

I am...

A full time oil painter. Currently have had about 60 shows, mostly in the Houston area. Constantly painting and trying to find outlets to show my work.

About my artwork

Try to push my mind/imagination as far as it will go and see what the creative limits are, if there are any, yet the art has to make sense to me. Love color and try to do the same with it; see how many colors and tones I can come up with.

Interests

Traveling, Swimming, Reading

The 2009 IJC is open to all artists worldwide, age 18 and older. All works must be original. Entries in the following medias will be accepted: Painting, Drawing, Mixed media, Printmaking, Watercolor, Ceramics, Sculpture, and Photography.

A solo show next winter 2009 at Bluebird Art House and $1500 to the winner. 1 work in the show for each one of the 3 runner up.

There are certain shapes you make that I have visualised for years - but can rarely actualise - so I return to minimalism (specifically with paint).
