If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Conceptual, Digital, Photography
I am...
sick of it.
About my artwork
I’ve kept a daily written journal since 1994. Since middle school I’ve taken snapshots. In 1997 I bought a date stamp Leica Mini-lux and this practice became my Visual Journal. In late 2007 I lost this camera to malfunction. I received a free camera phone, which I now use for my snapshots. I call it my FoneCam. In the late ‘80’s I did some language paintings, which at some point I called my daily journal. I now use Photoshop to create text pieces. I use a 10”x8” studio view camera to take B+W portraits, making contact prints.
Artists I like
Kaprow, Broodthaers, Ellsworth Kelly, Weegee, Robert Frank, Annette Messager, Sophie Calle, Warhol, Araki, Basquiat, Dumas, Roni Horn, Stephen Prina, Stockholder, Whiteread, Christopher Williams, Christopher Wool, Deiter Roth, Creed, Inness, Bechers, Atget, Polke, Gustav Kluge, Magdalena Abakanowicz, Deiter Appelt, Sugimoto, Hans Peter Feldmann, Tony Conrad, Disfarmer, On Kawara & others.
