- An artist and fine art photographer. I have been honored with numerous awards including:
• Selected as the 2008 "ARTIST OF THE YEAR FOR COMMUNITY IMPACT" ArtServe Encore Awards
* Selected as the Official T-shirt & Poster Design Artist for the 2007 Art in the Park Art Festival in Plantation, Fl;
• Awarded First Place in Mixed Media Class, Art Explosion Juried Exhibition;
• Awarded First Place for Photography, ArtServe 6th Annual Juried Membership Exhibition, 2006;
• Selected to create art for a fighter jet helmet for the McDonald's Air & Sea Show, ArtServe;
• Appointed a State of Florida Residency Artist;
• Listed in the Broward Arts in Education Approved Artist Directory.
- About my artwork
- I primarily work as a painter- working with watercolor, acrylics, and mixed media. I also have had much success as a photographer and recently have begun integrating the two mediums.

- There are so many artists I like ... including Henri Matisse; Edward Hopper; Herb Ritz, Robert Mapplethorpe; Georges de La Tour; all of the impressionists, Peter Max, and on and on.

- Travel, museums, new art, collecting, and friends.
