Turpenoid is just safer than turpentine. Turpentine does give a different quality to the drawings, but I just do not want to breathe the fumes. I have the turpenoid working for me the way I want it to.
I have not found a way to get around the glass and frames yet. I just spent over $3000 framing for my show coming up. Two of the big drawings will be going into a juried national show and then the others in another show. It was going to be a solo but letting a young artist put in a few photographs. Giving back or should I saying paying forward.
I have tried the litho on canvas but do not like the results. I have been floating these under glass. But as you know anything with pencil or graphite gets ruined if one person touches. So far all of those drawings I do are under glass.
I would like to keep this talk going and maybe between the two of us we could figure something out.

Thanks. They are all sizes from small to the size of a sheet of rag mat board.
They are not graphite, but they are litho crayon and turpenoid. Something I learned in college and have used off and on over the years. I probably have about 80 or more of that series at the moment and still working on it. I have several ideas in the works to make them even larger.
