This friday i'll be taking part in a group show in siena. Th guy that organized the show is really great, but, as most italians not very well oganized. Good thing he's hooked up with this girl who did part of the curating, but it was up to me to do the catalogue. I am very glad I offerdìed to do so, because the guy that was supposed to take care of the graphics did a terrible job on the invites and at least now I am sure to have something good to show to people, but I cannot begin to tell you ho… Continue

One of the positive things is that I get to work outside, like today for instance. It was very sunny and warm so it was nice painting one of the sculptures in front of the studio.

Hello, my name is Sonja and I am (as are many on this website) an artist. But that's not all....I am also working as an artist's assistant!! This is great for a numerous amount os reasons, but it can also be very very difficult... since most artists and other creative people consider themselves the center of the universe.... to be continued...

Life! Where did we come from? Where are we going? Out of the vastness of space a sequence of events beginning with the tiniest of life forms ignites the spiral of evolution. Through fish, plants, animals and birds the path eventually leads to mankind. A pool of life bringing water cascades from the treetops to form a pathway to a bright and hopeful future.

Great idea, the Art FAQ group - I imagine you will be inundated by artists asking how to approach galleries in particular. I have noticed, on this site for example, how many people 'spam' galleries with comments saying 'please look at my work' etc. I wonder how many have even first taken a look at the type of work a gallery deals in, never mind considered the many many hundreds of unsolicited submissions galleries receive in the post and by email. Best, Phil
