About my artwork

"Colchester based 'Snippet' produce quirky pop music with funky folky twist.
Snippet's music is shot through with a dry sense of humour, toasty warm vocals, guitars and ukuleles alongside various sounds delivered via a quirky imagination.
The music style sits somewhere between laptop folk and funky lounge electronica.

Snippet’s debut 4 track e.p ‘I’m Peckish’ has just been released on the independent electronic music imprint Steal My Oil records.

Snippet is the brainchild of singer/songwriter/musician Johnno Casson.
For a while Johnno has been in a number of bands; most notably with Deep Joy,a Trip hop outfit who released music through Mo’ Wax records amongst others.

Snippet also writes and works with other artists. A recent collaboration has been with the Dutch troubadour 'Wim Oudijk’ for a version of the Snippet favourite 'Just to let u know'. The original version of 'Just to let u know' is also included on the Norwegian compilation CD - "Around the world with My Little Pony, vol.1" from ace Norwegian band 'My Little Pony'.
