Not so long ago I acquired a nice piece of Picasso jewellery and now, when we go out to a “posh do” my wife wears it on a chain around her neck. Not everyone realises what it is - something quite special!

Melinda McCarthy said… - I think in your painting, you have a nice sense of light and shadow (particularly on the b+w firgures) as well as a lovely warm colour palette both of which draw you in. With the printed works at the start of the slide show, I liked the ones with the use of different language scripts within the layers, (and as someone who used to be a screen printer) like that you are experimenting with the layering that the medium allows, felt that they looked stronger within the installation space, as it strengthened their context ! :)
