Mostly photography although I like to paint when I have time. I take mostly portrait pictures at the moment which focus manly on my kids because they are with me and I have to keep my eye on them!!! I am looking forward to returning to college in september which should allow me to put some more creative ideas into practice. I am really looking forward to using the studio and lights.

Interests
Anything other than dealing with nappys and rowing with spouse !!
What exhibitions are good at the moment?
You tell me.
The centre of the artworld is
nowhere and everywhere
Totally Random and untouched images at the moment, much more and much better to come.........If only I had the negs from all my travels !!!! Keep them safe peeps, but by now I guess you know that your life revolves round showcasing your artworks and your images.

I would just like to add these images are raw and have not been vamped up in photoshop, I will get around to it at some point, I have rather a back log of images needing some touch up treatment although I do find reward in not touching them too. I have just recently returned to working with film...Sooo satisfying.

Hi Sam, Thanks for looking, Its so encouraging having positive comments, especially now after finishing my degree and wondering what on earth I am going to do next. Its really hard trying to break into the market for selling art. Galleries usually only want established artists. Also want professional photographs when you submit your work for them to consider, which I am still trying to have done- any photographers out there in west wales???
It has been suggested that I make larger scale pieces for outside, in public places, that is one area I hope to eplore in the future.
I went back to college Sam after having children, changed my career, and went for it. All I can say if you have the passion, then go for it, you can work it around your family, its hard but can be done. Balance is the answer. Have a good day today, I am off to the Brecon Beacons looking for inspiration today, speak later, jan
