If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Drawing, Painting
I am...
an explorer; bravely going places where I've never been before - I've never been to tomorrow but I'm planning to.
About my artwork
Mostly explorations in texture generated by random application of whatever I find that seems to fit the requirement. I paint for fun, not profit which is just as well because otherwise I'd starve.
I am a graphic designer currently working in surf culture and eyewear.
Artists I like
Anslem Keifer, Marcel Duchamp, Jackson Pollock, Georgio Morandi, Amedeo Modigliani, Pablo Picasso, Max Beckman, Tom Waits
Interests
Triathlon and the three sports that it is made up of as sports distinct from triathlon.
Sailing (Australian Lightweight Sharpie)
I've been keeping blog - rogerstuff.blogspot.com - theres a whole series of progress photos of this painting on there and shots of a lot of other work.
I'm thinking, though, that this environment is better for art than the other one. What do you do - keep 2 blogs? Seems to me that you spend a lot of time duplicating entries.

Hi Roger.
Thanks for your comment.
I think you spelled her name absolutely right. Yes I do like her work, both the prints and the paintings.
I like the textural quality of your work. I'm sure it would be even better in person.
Take care,
Julie Caves
Thank you very much for your comments. I enjoyed your searches. They show courage, plasticity, sensiblity and force. They will certainly lead you toward your goals. I personally enjoy the works of all the artists that teach me something. Best wishes, Dany
Joseph Beuys - that's a good idea, he's there in the background, but I haven't thought about him at all recently. And restraint? Well, we would not know what that meant unless exuberance was in evidence elsewhere.
At last! A layman's guide to the Government's healthcare reforms, explaining them in terms so simple they might have been written by a complete idiot, and charting the development of health care from the good old days to the present and beyond - with hilarious results!
