Rafal Piotr Karcz - born in 1969 in Krakow. Graduated from Art History Department of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, the Faculty of Industrial Design. He works as a painter, photographer who experiments with medias and techniques. He also belongs to the Polish and American Societies of Pastelists. This year he received a reword during the 3rd Biennial of Pastels in Nowy Sacz. He had some individual exhibitions. While working he focuses on longer series, where he exposes a chosen motive or object.
