- The sadly deceased Robert Rauschenberg was a huge influence along with the New York School, Newman, Johns, Rosenquist, Pollock, de Kooning, Gorky, Kline, Still, Hopper and the Russian Constructivists - Malevitch and Rodcenko - as well as the Bauhaus. Turner's in there too.

- Writing and Music.
- What exhibitions are good at the moment?
- Picaba at Tate Modern. In fact all of Tate Modern. The soon to be Rothko and Bacon exhibitions.
