About my artwork

My work developed by a need to express my observations in a "recent" urban change.
This way I tried to capture what I call the New Landscape. Urban Landscape is part of our daily lives and almost substituted Nature bringing a new technological language based on signs and control gestures.
My photographs, as well as some videos portray my point of view regarding those changes, as dated documents (to be). They are now, but they are past. I capture space and how people deal with it, with objects and with themselves.
We are all here and now, but at the same time only special events bring us together.
Also I like to capture space's identity, here in a allusion to Guy-Debord urban ideas, like his Derive Theory.
The city is reality and at the same time our narrative place where we develop our true and fantasy actions.
