not sure which is the greater acheivement. That you have managed to master the art of I pad drawing or that you managed to get Theo to sit still for 90 mins!

The Public Are Not Invited

'Public accountability' has been cited as driving the shift in funding priorities from 'excellence' toward criteria led production in which audience development is critical.

Funded art is produced to perpetuate political objectives; the cutting edge is dulled; audience…

Olympics , who needs them.

This is the full version of the drastically edited letter in AN magazine October 2008.

There are numerous activities developing following the recent announcement that one third of the budget for the Arts Council is being cut to invest in the Olympic Games.

I was heartened to see that an artist organisation in London has organised a re training day to get artists in a more sportsman like frame of mind; however I think you will find that artists are quite well trained at numerous… Continue

I am working towards a 'blurb' booklaunch next week. After that I will follow it up with exhibition proposals. Am I right in saying that some of your floor based pieces are cartographicaly accurate? That would be a link with some of my prints, as some of those look like aerial/satallite phots, but are entirely fictional.

I have not thought of anywhere in particular, but I agree that I would want it to be funded as well. Starting the process would give me an incentive to finish writing a piece about landscape that would itself help to get an exhibition. I will do a large mailout on the 3rd march to try to get a book published. If that generates any interest I will use that to try to get galleries interested. Are you interested in the East London 'scene'?

Hi Paul, Hows the fight for Oldknows going, ope you win the war. I was also wondering if you could e-mail the photos you took from the project space when I was in there as I am trying to sort my website out and I think the images you took are probably better than the ones I have got. Thansk again and hopefully see you soon. Cheers Eddie

Busy Is As Busy Does...

Well, I've not been here for some time because I've been BUSY! Yes. The latest on the Fringe Front is that we have launched a twitter feed @thetruepattern which you should follow if you're interested in what unfolds with that whole affair. I don't run it, I just supply some of the info to the tweet master. In addition, we have a myspace page which is serving as a…See More
