Okay friends... I need opinions now (well, actually I need loads of praise) because I have all my art hidden away. I can't show it anywhere. It appears to be toooo real.. or not subtle enough... or boring... Everytime I look at these two paintings, MORNING BJ and EVENING BJ, which are quite large (6ft in length) and turned to the wall in my studio, I see absolute beauty. What is art? Why does it exist?

This question pops into my head daily. I have come to the "conclusion" that art is "something" that expressions or emotes "freedom". It has to "live" in order to "transmit" anything to anyone. A work of art that has life or that breathes, is something that has been created through the interactive dialog between the work of art and the artist.
