I love the piece, it is one of the few works that I put on and leave, I work and live around it.
Hlemmur in C is more than a recording of a piece of "creative technology", I believe that this is why it works. Somehow the drone and its meanderings have an organicness, which produces more than the sum of the technology used and the data produced. The overriding affect of On Everything, the most recent web-based work of Icelandic media artist Pall Thayer, might best be summed up in two words: self-propelling excess.
