- I am not from the former soviet union, but my paintings often conjure "spirits" that roam around and bring to mind eastern europe or bavaria. It is a non-biographical fiction that i like to creat. personally, i was born and i live in Israel. So the childhood memories are a probably some sort of "induced projection"...
