Every year, ArtReview magazine highlights some of the most exciting and important new talent in the artworld. In the March 2009 issue, an international panel of artworld experts helped us choose the next generation of Future Greats...
Every year ArtReview magazine assesses the most important players in the artworld: the artists, dealers, curators, auctioneers and critics making things happen. What do you think of this year's list? Who did we leave out? Who did we overestimate?
A place for the video artists from artreview to share works and ideas, and nurture collaborative works. Critics, curators, collectors and galleries interested in video are also very welcome.

If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Painting, Photography
I am...
I am working for a large corporation... Interacting with a lot of people from all continents... I pretty much enjoy the cultural differences & the conflicts it sometimes brings... Balancing the fact that I am part of standardized working environment... I love switching off by doing something individual... something I can form & shape the way I want... art & photography...
About my artwork
Started acrylic painting back in 2007... I've always like playing with fades & shades, forms & shapes, and perspectives... I prefer abstract much more to figurative art... Via geometry you can express yourself in a more profound way... As the onlooker will be more involved in the experience & discovery...
Artists I like
My favorites include Anish Kapoor, Matthew Barney, Cai Guo-Qiang, Olafur Eliasson, Bill Viola, Damien Hirst, Frida Kahlo, Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, Jackson Pollock, Robert Rauschenbert, Wolfgang Tillmans... and my friend, Wayne Yung...
Interests
I've been a traveller since I was 6-months old... My parents took me around Europe... from Yugoslavia to Stockholm and to Scotland... We did a lot of camping, eating canned food, having the weird stare of locals on our ancient east-European car... Sometimes I miss these... Anyway, world has changed... You have the long weekends and easyJet... Since then, got to see Mexico, Mongolia, Canada, Laos, USA, Thailand, Hong Kong, Cambodia & China...
What exhibitions are good at the moment?
Quite a few this year... Obviously won't be able to visit most of them...
