I have always been intrigued by stories about time travel. One of my favorite movies was a 1960’s “Time Machine”, starring Rod Taylor and Yvette Mimieux (is she still around). It was based on H.G. Wells Novel with the same name. The story was about an Englishman traveling to the future and finds that humanity has divided into two species, a gentle and peaceful race and a cannibal race.
I studied Einstein’s theory’s of time travel. It got me nowhere, except made me procrastinate some task time and time again.
We can’t see or precisely predict the future. , whether we like it or not, we are building the history of the future generation, though. What I would not want to see is that the subsequent generations blaming us for making their world more hostile and unlivable.
If you have kids or grand kids, some day they may ask you: ” you knew this was coming and you did nothing to prevent it”. Perhaps global warming is one of the subjects that comes to mind.
Beside writing anecdote here and there, I developed the website,
www.ChatterWall.org , to start web-logging about our world intended for leaving messages for the future generations - yes even the ones not born yet. Perhaps, by contributing to the site, people would become more aware of their own intentions and what the can do to change things, here and now, for better. Hope you join
ChatterWall.org Furthermore, I love art, especially innovative out of ordinary.
We can all make a difference. Keep on leaving your great artistic impressions.
Cheers,
Nick.
