Brakecore seems to be nicking all it's imagery of Metal which is a bit unimaginative. My own personal theory is it's look should be a bit more digital looking: say metal on an 8-bit.
Or like the kinds of visuals up with which I often come.
I'd love more gigs like Kendal.
My long-term plan for my VJ kit is to have a second machine for interactive artworks and experimental games operated by the audience, and I can cut to that sometimes.
are you familiar with the work of 'Shazia Sikander' at all? (i think that's how you spell her name.) Your works on canvas have a similar sense of space. I know what you mean about contemporary art these days. It's the same in Australia. I think the world, its citizens and the environment are in a state of turmoil and confusion at the moment and that becomes apparent in the work made by artists.
So called Artists are constantly making visual comments on what is deplorable in our society, like you say, in weighty text based works and I agree, often missing the point by trying to be too clever. There's intellectual art and then there's ART for arts sake!... Bring back Art!
