Ha! I'm 54. Yes, Italy is a land of extraordinary beauty. My wife is an architect. She lived in Malta on a scholarship to study the walled city of Mdina for four months. She has amazing sketchbooks! She was there about twenty years ago. My second daughter is 17, just started studying fine arts at college. What schools did you attend in Italy and the UK? UK is good for typography study.

Off to teaching now (my first class this year - Foundations of Design I to interior designers)!

For me the artreview.com site is an amazing. I would never expect to have contact with a graphic designer in Sardinia!! My parents visited Sardinia in the 1970s. They travelled quite a bit. Hopefully Sardinia is not so industrialized. The light must be beautiful.

My daughter was in Italy for three weeks last summer. She studies art history at university in Montreal. She was so excited to take her guide book and visit the monuments of Pisa, Florence and Rome.

I visited in 1969, 1973 and 1980 (I'm old!).

Did you study in Italy? We of course love Fellini, anything Italian, the food, the history, etc.
