I am...
a singer/songwriter, musician and artist, born in Baltimore,MD. My grandfather was a German pianist responsible for discovering and supporting some of the greatest opera singers of the twentieth century including Marion Anderson and Elizabeth Schwarzkopf. I have always been surrounded by travel, music and art.

I have been writing music, and sporadically painting since I can remember, and can be seen performing under various pseudonyms.

Recently my song "In Love with a Friend" was part of the latest Deep Dish album (George is On) that received 2 Grammy nominations in 2006.
About my artwork
On January 1, 2009 I began to embark on a year long art project entitled, I Had A Dream: A 365 Day Retrospective.

I painted one painting every day for the entire year of 2009, based on a dream I had after a near fatal car accident. On the back of each painting, a diary or recap of the day’s events was inscribed, creating a daily time capsule within each piece.

Now the project is complete, the collective 365 paintings with the daily recaps will be assembled to present a tangible retrospective of art and history for 2009 in early 2010.

Daily blogs can be found here and various art sites on the Internet!

I was inspired to paint today. This is the first of my Dream paintings since my 365 day project. I spoke to my friend Jason today, and his conversation was inspiring. In addition I spoke to the organizer of The Santi School, asking if I would donate another painting for their 3rd Annual Art Auction in April, and I was reminded of how great it is to be able to give back to the world through my art. It is truly such a… Continue

New Year's Eve # 3

Today we woke up and had to have some car work cleaned up from the Monro Muffler fiasco in Massachusetts; we drove across the Bay Bridge to Kent Island. Gina was singing at the Yacht Club there, so New Year’s was not exactly what I was hoping it would be for the end of this collection, but it was nice just the same. We decided to spend the night down here and luckily I have Internet again… Continue

I slept well last night; it was good to be back in Baltimore. We slept in a bit later than we hoped but we had a lot to catch up on so we hit the ground running today. We had a lot of errands and a lot more tomorrow. I had another interview today for a Canadian publication called The Fulcrum. I enjoyed a lot of the reporter’s questions, especially her last one. Met my mom and Aunt for dinner in Little Italy and I am… Continue

Baltimore, MD.

Today I woke up screaming from some sort of nightmare. The type of “real” nightmare that I haven’t had for a very long time. It is very disconcerting as it usually is some sort of premonition. We’ll see how I sleep tonight. This afternoon we left New Jersey and made the drive to Baltimore. Heading down the infamous New Jersey Turnpike again. On the way we visited our friends Brian and Olga. We haven’t seen them for a… Continue

I love your work as well! The flowers paintings are my favorite #3 believe. It's funny, I'm a singer/songwriter as well, but my art is my #1 focus right now. Do you have anything on line?
