- MendTorr, a.k.a. "Lord of Lies" or "Mentor d Mentir" which is spanish for Mentor of lying, and its also the name of my artistic statement that theoretically supports my artwork, its related to the frase "art is a lie that leads us to the truth" from my favorite artist, Picasso. this is clearly appreciated in my work in which i focus in self-portraying me within it, and generally what i appear doing within it is using my imagination in order to create illusory and unreal images, lies that are exteriorized, but by doing so, such lies show true and honest feelings, thoughts and emotions about relevant themes and situations from everyday life such as school, family, religion, sexuality and death. basically, i develop a realism that doesn't focus on reality, but in what i think of it, in making my truths tangible, without caring about fitting in within a genre, only caring about being myself = only making "MendtoRЯealisM"
