- An Australian visual artist based currently in London.
Working with various mediums, my commissions and projects have involved painting, illustration, photography, screen-print, set and costume design, short film, installation, music and performance. As well as exhibiting in solo and group shows and projects, I have travelled the world playing traditional eastern European music on double bass.
- About my artwork
- I am inspired mainly by mythology, folk-lore, story telling, legends, fantasy, alchemy, history and ancient cultures. My artwork usually has a narrative and is a way of me delving into stories and beliefs of times past.
I enjoy creating work specifically for storylines and therefore also do illustration work.
- Artists I like
- Hieronymus Bosch, Dali, Rubens, Pieter Brueghel Brian Froud, Gaudi , all the anonymous artists who created the rock and cave paintings in ancient times and who painted illuminated manuscripts in the middle ages and many more....
- Interests
- Folk-lore, eastern european music, playing double bass, travel, working collaboratively- LET'S FILL THE WORLD WITH ART AND MUSIC :)

Hi all, well I am very excited as the Biennale is now just around the corner!!
My work will be among 160 other amazing artists' work from across the world. I feel very blessed and hope that if anyone is in Italy in September (or wants an excuse to go to Italy) they will come and check it out! The details are as follows:

Fundraising Auction
Well while I have been away from the computer screen, I have been very productive in the studio.

I am proud to say that one of my works will be going to auction in order to raise money for rebuilding after the distruction caused by the earthquakes in italy this year. Details at http://www.myspace.com/art_project_minerva
