My work is all over the place in terms of materials but centered conceptually around the idea of questioning the rituals of tradition and the intentions of authority, which often go hand in hand.

Carey Young, Maria Alos, Kate Ericson and Mel Zigler, Damien Hirst, Gilbert and George, Jeff Koons, Matthew Barney, Charles Krafft, Janine Antoni, and many others.

hey thanks. A few common threads we share- I looked at heaps of historical medical devices when making "Instruments..." also, manipulating the Authority of the Museum with wall texts and particular presentation, though that may not be totally apparent in my images. Regarding words & the weight of meaning, check out Paul Etienne Lincoln's Purification of Fagus Sylvatica Var Pendula and Ignisfaatus. I'd say you're kicking some ass for being just out of undergrad, happy graduation!
