1987- Started Artist's workshop, Tehran Iran
Mayam Salour has extensive knowledge and understanding of Iran 's contemporary art. She has prepared 8 programs for BBC world service, including 2 programs on young blind Iranian painters.
2006- Director of the 8th ceramic and glass art biennial exibition of Iran
She also conducts summer ceramic classes for children and young people.
