I am...: 45 years old, working in a London Borough High School within the The Arts faculty and I am Assistant to Arts College our specialist status. I also look after our Art events, all school publications, the news and the web site. I am involved with 'COLOUR EXPRESS' art workshops for young people delivering an opportunity for self expression in art. I am married with 3 grown up children. I paint, draw, take photographs and digitise.

About my artwork: I enjoy colour, lines, movement and the flow of the brush. My passion is now leaning towards the abstraction of natural forms, concentrating on 'digitised growth' and studies relating to that. I am particularly enamoured in the shapes that can be found in the tangled connections of branching twig and leaf lines and I have a great affinity with trees, flowers and weeds. I have taken thousands of photographs of various subjects, mainly the green and growing kind. My artwork is usually acrylics or oils on canvas, and could be described as abstract and expressionist. I am also interested in painting compositions incorporating symbols and icons of all kinds and their meanings and histories. My main storage online is http://louisedionne.multiply.com/

Interests: I was born in the sixties in HARROW NORTH WEST LONDON UK. I am a member of what I call the 'middle youth' culture here in the U.K. Which means life is primarily fun. I have an interest in singing, chatting, and socialising.

in other words take photo of something...that something maybe a painting/drawing you have done or from life..
then digitise it on the computer, 'artisise' it using whatever means... then recreate again back unto canvas using your digitised image as a guideline..
so 2 new words for the art world invented by me!!
'undigitalism' and 'artisise'..
