History, Past and Present are recurrent themes in my practice, through investigative approaches; interpreting moments in time. Exploring notions relating to historical routes, which have been and passed in the same place, and what still remains to tell this story that is left in the present time. What indicates a story of the past? The places I have been photographing are ordinary places but with a great deal of content and narrative behind them; a certain point which draws the viewer into the image to imagine being in such a setting. The photographs aesthetically appear to be romantic, poetic, but yet mysterious with a sense of ambiguity. These notions go hand in hand with the search for identity and what identity means, what identity means to the viewer.

- I like a range of artists from classics like Monet, Manet, Cezanne, Picasso, Matisse, klee, de stael, De Kooning. More contemporary artists, Damien Hirst, Tracy Emin, Henderson Cisz, Marielle Neudecker, Mark Dion.
A range of Artists who have inspired my current work - Gregory Crewdson, Jeff Wall, Marketa Othova, Antony Grimshaw, Tom Hunter, Uta Barthes, Sam Taylor Wood, Anselm Kiefer, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Man Ray, William Henry Fox Talbot, David Hockney, JMW Turner
- Interests
- Interests which inspire my practice is a search for identity, heritage, culture, history, history of art, history of photography, history of British Cinema, Cinematography, Painting and photography, both contemporary and classic.
- What exhibitions are good at the moment?
- Last exhibition I went to was at the Impressions Gallery in Bradford - Dana Popa, photographer work based on narratives and stories of young girls being victims of sex traficing in Romania in particular
