I am...: Who I am and where I am at in life is what makes me happy.

About my artwork: My art is not for everyone and it's not easy orquick either. It's called opus sectile and has been done for over two thousand years but very few people in the world today can do it. It is very labor intensive and the material is not always easy to come by. So if your looking for a quick easy piece to add to your collection or to brighten your surroundings I would suggest a different type of piece. Thank you, R. Gentry

Artists I like: I like most art and find the most beauty in nature

Interests: Working on new and difficult pieces, Fishing, Relaxing on the beach

What exhibitions are good at the moment?: Here on the island there is some exhibits that are very interesting, but for the most part nothing new and exciting.

I just came back from the docs this week and he took an MRI of my neck and said that their is a disc bulging between c3 n c4. It's making my hands numb, so it will be awhile before I can get back into making anything new. But I keep ya'll in my mind and I just need some time to heal. The doc will give it another two months and if it's not getting better they will do surgery on it. SO I am hopeing things work out for the best. I will be back just a matter of time. Thank you for your warm thoughts and wishes,
