I have seen a show of Diebenkorn's early work at the Phillips Collection. It is very interesting how his early work evolved into his later work, which feels quite different, after seeing a particular Matisse painting at the Phillips.
My opening exhibition is August 2nd, 2008, in Newport, Rhode Island. Please visit www.kevingilmore.com and view the details. Also there is a review of the show in pdf file format to read. thanks!!
Hi Kevin, I like your paint quality--juicy! I’m in Ditmas Park but my studio is in Dumbo. We are definitely neighbors.
I’m looking forward to the prospect park concerts starting soon. The popularity of Brooklyn and the rising prices are making it difficult to stay here--I was looking at an apt in Harlem yesterday. But I can’t bear to leave. As for shows--I have nothing lined up now but hopefully something will crop up soon. Keep me posted abt your shows also.
cheers, Diana J

In fabulous stickman-o-vision, with bits of colour.…See More
